Longarm machine quilting is the future of making quilts that are beautiful, functional, and are a joy to have or to give. A longarm quilting machine has a large throat and moves on a track, from side to side as well as forward and backward across the three layers of a quilt. The machine is hand-guided to follow an outline pattern of your choice or moved "free-hand" to create beautiful feathers, swags, swirls, and lovely meandering patterns. Long arm machine quilting is the easiest, most efficient, and beautifully decorative way to finish your quilt. If you are not able to find a pattern you like, call us and we will work with you to find just the right pattern. If you want a really special custom treatment, send us a picture of your quilt and we will work out a design to complement the piecing. The custom design and quilting is more time consuming and more expensive to complete but you will have a one-of-a-kind, fabulous heirloom quilt when we are finished. The loops, swirls, feathers and meanders that are possible on a longarm quilting machine are truly artistic and well worth the extra time, effort, and expense.
